Laramie Municipal Court
Welcome to the site of the Laramie Municipal Court office. Through this you will find different links that may help you in understanding court processes and procedures. Municipal Court administers the operation of the judicial branch of the City Government according to the ordinances adopted by the City Council. Municipal Court cases originate from the Laramie Police Department and the University of Wyoming Police Department.
If you are unable to be seen on your original court date the Judge will see anyone prior to that date at 9:00 am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.
The Court offers an online Defensive Driving course for certain moving violations. If you meet the criteria the charge may be dismissed upon completion of the course.
If you are requesting a dismissal on a parking ticket or any other citation other than Failure to Maintain Liability Insurance ticket, you may go to the City Attorney’s page and obtain instruction on how to request a dismissal. If you are requesting a dismissal on Failure to Maintain Liability Insurance, please contact the Municipal Court Office for further instruction.
