Welcome to the Laramie Police Department's
Professional Standards Division

Services provided by the Professional Standards Unit include personnel recruitment and selection, training coordination and delivery, pre-employment background investigation, risk management, supervision of light-duty employees, internal affairs investigation, complaint and use of force tracking and reporting and policy development. This unit is staffed by a commander, a sergeant, a crime prevention officer and a DARE officer.
