Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) (Bomb Unit)

The EOD Unit is comprised of two highly trained and skilled sworn police officers. It is assigned to the Operations Division, Patrol Section. The Unit has special equipment for the handling of explosive and other volatile devices and materials. While the Unit is part of the Laramie Police Department, it is often called upon to assist others regional agencies. The Unit responds to a wide variety of calls and is a valuable asset, especially in an era of terrorist threats.
