WATER BASE FEES
Water based fees are based on the size of the meter that services your residence.

To fund a waterline replacement program a monthly charge of $4.24 shall be assessed for each active meter in addition to the base charge.

METERED WATER FEES
Metered water is the charge for actual water usage. The fee is $2.30 per unit
(1,000 Gallons). Outside city limits is $2.87 per unit.

RESIDENTIAL SEWER FEES
Based on the January, February and March water consumption from the previous year of usage for the residence.  The figure of the three month average is multiplied by $2.22 per unit (1,000 gallons) and added to the sewer base rate of $9.83 per month.

RESIDENTIAL REFUSE AND LANDFILL FEES

Residential refuse and landfill fees are based on the number of kitchen units in the residence such as a single family unit, a basement rental, duplex or multiple apartments. Each kitchen unit may have no more than three 20 gallon cans or two 32 gallon cans.

You may use the City of Laramie for your hauler or contract a private hauler
if you own a residence that has three or more units.

Monday and Thursday
· West Laramie south & west of Snowy Range

· 1st to 9th from Russell to Ivinson
· 1st to 15th from Ivinson north

COMMERCIAL REFUSE AND LANDFILL FEE

Contact the Solid Waste Manager at 721-5279 for pricing information.

· Residents outside of city limits (corporate) and all businesses shall be assessed a fee at the landfill, minimum entrance fee $4.15
· Uncompacted refuse $1.90 per cubic yard
· Compacted refuse to include building materials $7.35 per cubic yard
· Everyone is assessed tire fees
· City residents can show proof of residency (drivers license, utility bill) and not be charged at the gate

LANDFILL HOURS

8:00 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. Monday - Saturday (except holidays)
In response to decreased customer usage during the winter months, the Laramie Landfill will implement limited Sunday hours effective November 11, 2007. New hours for Sunday operation will be 9:00 am to 12:50 pm.
