  • How do you get municipal services billing into your name?
    Connect forms can be obtained at the City of Laramie at 406 Ivinson Street or call 721-5222 to have the form mailed/faxed to you.
  • How do you get municipal services billing out of your name?
    Disconnecting services can be handled by a phone contact at 721-5222.
  • What services are included in municipal services?
    The City of Laramie provides water, sewer, refuse collection/disposal and mosquito control services.

  • How do you hook up electricity?

Landfill

  • When is the Landfill open?
    Open 7 days a week (except holidays) - 8:00 a.m. to 4:50 p.m.
  • What is accepted at the landfill?
    Appliances (refrigerators must have the Freon drained)
    Tires (see fee schedule)
    Paints - solidified
    Tree waste
    Furniture
    Computers
  • What is not accepted at the landfill?
    Freon
    No federally listed waste
    No liquids/materials that do not pass the paint filter test
    Motor oil

  • Do you take motor oil?
    Yes
  • How do you request that an alley be graded?
    Call 721-5277 to request grading.
  • How do you request that a street be swept?
    Call 721-5277 to request sweeping.
  • What if a storm sewer inlet doesn't drain?
    Call 721-5277 to report problems.

  • What if water is cloudy or dirty?
    Run the water for 20 minutes straight, call 721-5280 if it does not clear up.
  • What if there is a sewer smell/rotten egg smell in the house?
    Run water in the drain, not bleach.
  • Emergency shutoffs
    Emergencies don't always allow for notification. However, when the situation allows, City personnel will go door to door to notify residents. Managers of apartment buildings will be notified and they are responsible for notifying their tenants.
