CHEMICAL FREE PARK

In response to community requests, the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board has designated Harbon Park as a chemical free park for a seventh consecutive year. No insecticides or herbicides will be used except for emergency on endangered trees, turf or shrubs. The use of fertilizers and mosquito spraying will be permitted only as necessary. This will give Laramie citizens who are chemically sensitive a city park to utilize and enjoy without the concern from possible exposure to chemicals and pesticides.
