Hurry! The deadline for registering for the 1st Annual Tomspiel, or turkey-curling competition, is
November 20!

On Sunday, November 23, teams of four bring your own brooms and wear rubber-soled shoes for some silly fun! Wear costumes, and name your teams, too, if you'd like. This will be a double-elimination tournament, and each team member will get one practice throw before game is on. We'll use frozen turkeys instead of stones for an element of fun and an equal playing field for participants!

$20 per team
Win a turkey dinner!

This Tomspiel is also a community food-drive, with non-perishable food items being the entry fee for spectators. ($1.00 per person if you have no food items.) All food donations aid the City of Laramie food drive and contributions will go directly to the Community Holidays Program. The turkeys will also be donated to local organizations holding community Thanksgiving dinners.

Register at the Laramie Community Ice & Event Center,
3510 E. Garfield, or phone 721.5261 for information or an entry form. See you soon!
